HOW CAN YOU HANDLE THAT?

So my wife, Raylene (you will learn more about her as I continue these blogs) and I decided to create an online presence around our barn door business. So as any entrepreneur would do I started looking at other websites to comparison shop on prices and services. Now the thing you need to know is that we wanted to focus on a service/sales area that is basically northern California and we didn't want to necessarily deal with all the coast to coast shipping. We thought it would be more fun to hand deliver our doors "to our neighbors".

So I focused on two nationwide websites as they had a TON of doors available. At first I thought there would be no way I could compete - until I started clicking through their sites.

Here's a couple things I found:

  • One website for less than $200 bucks will send you "just the cut lumber" so you can assemble it yourself. You will also have to go buy the mounting hardware and the door handle. Didn't say if it came with screws to hold it together. HOW CAN YOU HANDLE THAT?

  • Another website offered a door at just over $400. But, if I wanted that door to 1) be 8 foot tall by 3 feet 7 inches wide 2) come assembled with mounting hardware 3) Include White Pine as the wood 4) add a door handle - the 'add ons' were a staggering $2500 more! HOW CAN YOU HANDLE THAT?

With that said.... We want to make this SIMPLE. All of our pricing includes:

  1. DOORS THAT ARE FULLY ASSEMBLED

  2. DOOR MOUNTING HARDWARE

  3. BUILT USING PINE WOOD

  4. DOOR HANDLE

Can you handle that?

Let me know if I can help you in your door journey - in anyway.....
